Now, mature-aged, the artistic path is increasingly at the center of my life.
What I show on this website is just a small but important "picture" of what moves me, what I am creating. These are impressions of my artistic processes and I am curious where the meeting with the colours takes me...
I was born in 1955 in Augsburg, Germany.
Since 1987 I live and work in Portugal.
Waldorf education has also been accompanying me on my journey for many years, first as a kindergarten teacher and later in training the Waldorf kindergarten teachers. 27 years ago, I started to create the international Waldorf Kindergarten in Algarve - Barão São João.
My artistic work started with a great passion for colours and nature, leading me first to the art of dyeing with plants.
It was in Germany at the Free School of Art in Badenweiler, where my artistic education started. Through various courses in Portugal as well as in Germany (among others: Experimental Painting in the Landscape with Paul Pollock, in Portugal, Summer Academy of Alanus Hochschule, Bonn - Germany), I expanded my creative potential and developed a strong expression and creativity.
I complemented my artistic training with a professional art-therapy course in Lisbon and through further education in art therapy and creative processes in Freiburg, where I experienced a tremendous enrichment of my artistic work.
For many years I give the painting lessons in the teacher and educator training in "Percurso Waldorf" in Lisbon.
In 2012 I opened my Atelier in Barão São João, near Lagos, in the Algarve, where people are invited to discover and express their creative potential.

My project "colour your life" brings art and art therapy together.
Since the year 2000 I made several exhibitions and courses on the art of dyeing with plants. I participated for many years as one of the "Artistas de Barão" in the village street exhibitions. I was present twice at Arte Algarve in Lagoa with my paintings and have been exhibiting regularly for many years at Lagos artists - MALA - "Mostra das Artistas de Lagos".
one aspect of art is to make it public, expose it... another look that goes beyond your own understanding...
and I think it is always inspiring, when we meet together to be in touch with colours...
