The love to create, the admiration for nature, the devotion to beauty, the strength of transformation, the respect for the little things, the sense of mysterious, the awareness for the Human Being, searching for the spiritual, a holistic view… when I paint I find myself on this path… I find my inspiration.
My artwork is diverse… I like the experimental character and a strong expression.
When I encounter colours, shapes and lines, I bring movement into my pictures: powerful, sometimes even “stormy”, also playful and cheerful, deep and light, always looking for balance... always in dialogue with the colour…
- Born in 1955 in Augsburg, Germany.
- Since 1987 I live and work in Portugal.
Waldorf Education accompanied me on my professional way for many years, first as a kindergarten teacher and later in training the Waldorf kindergarten teachers.
In 1992, start to create the International Waldorf kindergarten Barão S. João, Lagos, Algarve.
From 2000, Workshops and Exhibitions related to the Art of Dyeing with Plants.
In 2003 begin of my artistic education at the Free School of Art in Badenweiler / Germany. Various courses in Portugal as well as in Germany ( among others: Experimental Painting in the landscape with Paul Pollock in Algarve, Summer Academy of Alanus Hochschule, Bonn / Germany, Free Painting class with Emily Ball in Algarve).
Professional Anthroposofical Art-Therapy course in Lisbon and art-therapy and creative processes in Freiburg.
Teacher for painting lessons in the teacher and educator training in “Percurso Waldorf” in Lisbon.
In 2013, opening of the Atelier in Barão S. João / Lagos, Algarve, with the project “colour your life”, where art and art-therapy come together.
